Artist Statement

‘Remember who you are’ – a phrase I often return to throughout my work and attempt to dissect its meanings. I am still learning and redefining the range of my painting abilities as well as the message that come through them. While I create with purpose, it’s not until I have a retrospective lens that I can uncover what a piece truly meant for me.
